About Evolve Early Learning Centre
We believe in a collaborative team approach that is led by the utilisation of each staff member’s professional goals and strengths, we advocate for ongoing professional development in order to create a unified and cohesive environment for all stake holders.
We recognise Bronfenbrenner’s ecological model to be an accurate depiction of the influences on children and embed this theory into our practice to ensure the holistic development of each child.
At Evolve we believe in and implement a play-based learning approach in correspondence with the Early years learning framework. We believe that play based learning provides children with opportunities to explore and make sense of their world as they discover, create, improvise and imagine.
We believe that children are capable and competent individuals and advocate for the child’s right to direct their learning and empower them to make their own choices. Evolve acknowledges the united nations convention of the rights of the child as our guiding and governing document of these rights.
We recognise a child’s family as their first and most influential teacher and believe that collaborative partnerships with families are imperative in building a clear picture of the child in order to develop plans for individual learning.
At Evolve we believe that each family’s diversity are assets to our service and value them as such. We feel that every child is entitled to a quality education that fosters their needs and facilitates opportunities to grow in an environment where they are supported and attain a sense of belonging.
Evolve believes in the importance of creating and maintaining connections between families and local services in order to promote reciprocal relationships that inspire positive outcomes for children.
At Evolve Early Learning Centre the children are grouped according to their age.
- Nursery (6wks -2 Years)
- Toddler (2-3 Years)
- Pre School (3-5 Years)
Although this is the normal grouping, children from different age groups do mix together at times and siblings are encouraged to visit each other throughout their days.
